My practice is rooted in the quiet strength of the female form — not as spectacle, but as testimony.
My practice is rooted in the quiet strength of the female form — not as spectacle, but as testimony.
I am Jaret Loggenberg, born in Parys, South Africa, and an artist by calling. I believe my ability to create is a gift from God—the greatest Creator—and I see my art as a way of expressing emotions and words visually, while uplifting others and glorifying His name. Painting is not just what I do; it is how I speak to the world.
I am deeply grateful to my mother, who saw my talent early on and encouraged me to live my passion and pursue my dream. Although I followed a practical path and completed a BCom degree in Economics and Risk Management, a defining turning point came when I read the book, The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari by Robin Sharma. It reminded me that life and work are ultimately about passion, purpose, and using what you love to inspire and encourage others. From that moment, I knew I had to fully step into who I was created to be.
My work is inspired by the human figure, especially the female form, which I use to convey emotion, strength, vulnerability, and inner beauty. My artworks are intentionally emotional, created to invite connection and uplift women, encouraging confidence in their bodies and reminding them that true happiness flows from the heart and spirit.
Like everyone, I have faced challenges, and through them I have learned the importance of seeking mentorship, guidance that keeps me grounded, accountable, and aligned with my purpose. Each artwork I create carries intention, faith, and hope: a reminder that even in difficult seasons, there is always light at the end of the tunnel, and that we are called to rise, grow, and live with purpose.
Jaret Loggenberg is a registered South African artist whose practice centres on expressive oil-on-canvas works exploring emotion, resilience, and the human condition, with a particular focus on the female form.
Deeply inspired by human anatomy, Loggenberg’s artworks are characterised by bold, intuitive brushwork and a strong emotional presence. Her artworks are not narrative-driven, but emotionally led, allowing viewers space for personal interpretation and engagement.
